Hello BHP Bears! Today you will find a Healthy Kids Clinic Flu Shot permission form coming home with your child. This flu shot clinic is OPTIONAL and will be done at BHP for those who wish to participate on October 18th. If you choose for your child to participate, the forms are due on Sept 30th. No flu shots will be given without this permission form in hand. Please call our office at 270-422-7545 and ask for Nurse Sarah Stranahan if you have any questions!

Did you remember to fill out those important beginning-of-the-year forms yet? If not, no worries! We’ve got you covered—there’s still time to complete them this week.
These forms are a BIG deal because they help us keep offering things like free lunches, health services, and making sure your kiddo gets their well-deserved spot in the yearbook!
So, if you haven’t done it yet, take a few minutes to knock it out—it’s easier than figuring out what’s for dinner tonight!
1st grade students were our Highest Attendance winners for the month of August! They enjoyed a party that included their choice of dancing, cup stacking, hula hooping, jumping rope and other games. Our September winner will be announced and have their reward before Fall Break. 😃😃😃

We are excited to begin a new program at Barry Hahn Primary. The BHP Student Leadership program will offer opportunities for students to fill leadership roles throughout our school. The goal is to build leadership capacity in our students and increase the overall positive culture. We will first begin with the 2nd & 3rd Grade students and then our younger students will follow later this school year. On Friday an application will be sent home and students may apply for leadership positions available. Students will be selected to fill these roles within a couple weeks. Please have the applications returned to school by Sept. 4th. We can't wait to see our BEARS in action!
